About Monty
Monty is a right hand drive Brazilian built VW T2. As with all our Classic T2s he has the modern liquid cooled engine making for a better driving experience and greater economy.
Inside is a fresh new interior with full width bed and is complete with the lifting pop top with further sleeping space ‘upstairs’ if required.
Outside is a bold and bright blue over white paintwork with chrome bumpers and highlights. Our campers are always the best lookers on the campsite and Monty is no exception. Being liquid cooled he has an effective vehicle heating system.
Monty has seating for 5, and the seat belt set up comprises of four 3 point seat belts and one a lap belt.
How Monty is set up
Our vans are perfectly set up for your adventure.
- Smart electric system for powered site hook-ups or standalone camping.
- On board standard vehicle cab heater which provides plenty of heat for on and off site camping, electric fan heater available when connected at the campsite.
- For off-site camping you have a 2nd ‘house’ battery that charges up as you drive for lights etc so you can’t run down the engine battery. You can also run and charge your own electric items via the USB sockets.
- Dometic 49 litre fridge that really works well, 12v or mains powered
- Fold out full width bed suitable for 2 adults
- Lifting roof suitable for 2 children or 1 adult (up to 80 kgs)
- 5 seat belts – one of the rear being of lap belt design
- RAC Roadside Assistance and Recovery coverage
