About Dotty
Dotty is a left hand drive Brazilian built VW T2. This means that she will be easier to drive for European and North American drivers. As with all our Classic T2s she has the modern liquid cooled engine making for a better driving experience and greater economy.
Inside is a fresh new interior with full width bed.
Outside is a lovely bright daffodil yellow over white paintwork with custom painted wheels and bumpers. You can view the build of this beautiful camper on You Tube and there is no nicer T2 than this one for hire anywhere. The heating system is by way of built in auxiliary cab heater.
Dotty has seating for 5, and the seat belt set up comprises of four 3 point seat belts and one a lap belt.
How Dotty is set up
Our vans are perfectly set up for your adventure.
- Smart electric system for powered site hook-ups or standalone camping.
- On board ‘Webasto’ cab heater which provides plenty of heat for on and off site camping
- For off-site camping you have a 2nd ‘house’ battery for lights etc so you can’t run down the engine battery, this charges automatically when you drive or are plugged in at a campsite. You can also run and charge your own electic items via the 12v ‘car’ plugs.
- Waeco fridge that really works
- 3/4 length rear hinging roof which provides a sleeping areas for 2 children or 1 adult (80 kgs max)
- Fold down full width main bed suitable for 2 adults
- 5 seat belts – one of the rear being of lap belt design.
