About Boris
Boris is our first liquid cooled Brazilian Type 2. Unlike Tilly and Dotty he has the more powerful and refined liquid cooled engine. It makes him a more relaxed cruiser and perhaps a little easier to drive.
Boris was born in 2012 in the Sao Bernard do Campo Rio de Janeiro plant before coming over to the UK. He has a full width bed (rare in these vehicles) and is a ‘tin top’ ie no upstairs and as a consequence he’s well set up for couples as a 2 berth only.
Finished in classic white with a beautiful new high spec interior he’s another lovely looking camper and you’ll find people coming over to have a closer look in and waving to you on the road. Being liquid cooled he has a normal vehicle heating system.
Boris has seating for 5, and the seat belt set up comprises of four 3 point seat belts and one a lap belt.
How Boris is set up
Our vans are perfectly set up for your adventure.
- Smart electric system for powered site hook-ups or standalone camping.
- On board standard vehicle cab heater which provides plenty of heat for on and off site camping
- For off-site camping you have a 2nd ‘house’ battery that charges up as you drive for lights etc so you can’t run down the engine battery. You can also run and charge your own electric items via the USB sockets.
- Dometic 49 litre fridge that really works well, 12v or mains powered
- Fold out full width bed suitable for 2 adults
- 5 seat belts – one of the rear being of lap belt design.

- Full LED lighting
- 2 Burner gas stove
- Sink and powered cold water supply
- Cutlery and crockery for the number of passengers on board
- Tumblers, wine glasses and mugs
- Pans, kettle, knives, chopping board, bottle opener, cork screw, mixing bowls, jug etc
- Dustpan and brush, matches, disposable BBQ, tea towels, dish washing stuff
- Teabags, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper
- Torch, Collins Road Map, notepad, pen etc
- Fire extinguisher and fire blanket, carbon monoxide alarm, first aid kit
