We strongly believe that it’s a mistake to load your bus down with things you won’t use – space is at a premium in a retro VW campervan so we give you the option to take what you need – some items are bulky and some aren’t necessary – just take your pick and we are happy to advise.
- Bedding – if you don’t bring your own we have freshly laundered sleeping packs comprising off sheets, pillows and a duvet. We can supply towels on the same basis if you like. There is a small charge for bedding packs and towels.
- Thermal blinds – for early and late season hires these go between the curtains and the windows – quite bulky, make a decision based on the time of year and weather forecast
- Camping chairs and table – collapsing type but they take up a little space, most people want them so we tend to leave these in the vans
- Levelling chocks – recommended as Scotland is rarely flat and the consequence of a van on a slope is that some folk are never quite comfortable – small, so generally left in the vans.
- Satnav
- Electric Heater – good for early and late season hires when on sites.
- Child seats – we have boosters and rearward facing child seats. You must satisfy yourself as to suitability, small charge for these.
Please just ask on the day you arrive if you wish to borrow any items, if it is available you are very welcome. We don’t charge over and above our rates but we do reserve the right to make a small charge for laundry and child seats and any equipment borrowed must be returned in good order.
