About Amy
Amy is another freshly converted Brazilian liquid cooled Type 2. These liquid cooled Brazilians are really lovely to drive – that extra power makes a difference being more relaxing because you don’t have to drive them hard to ‘keep up’
Amy was born in the Sao Bernard do Campo plant before coming over to the UK in 2010. She is left hand drive, has a ¾ width bed which is still plenty big enough for 2 and has the benefit of full length cabinets for more storage space. There is a pop top roof with upstairs accommodation for children of all ages – so long as 80 kgs is not exceeded.
Amy was refinished in the fantastic period Leuchtorange and white in 2021. She really is a looker and has a custom feel with a colour coded dashboard and upholstery. All our vans are fantastic but I seriously doubt that there is a nicer T2 for hire anywhere.
Unusually for a ¾ width bed/seat Amy has seating for 5 having the feature of a 3 position seat up front which has a lap belt plus 3 point belt. In the rear seat there are 2 seats with a 3 point seat belt and a lap belt. Being liquid cooled Amy has a normal vehicle heating system.
